'Uddhav Thackeray Ready To Be Maharashtra CM' Says Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut

Speaking outside the Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial at Dadar on Friday, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut confirmed that his party supremo Uddhav Thackeray had agreed to be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. This follows the joint meeting of the Sena, NCP and Congress.  The three parties are likely to meet the Governor on Saturday to formally stake claim for government formation.

Raut said, “Uddhav Thackeray agreed for the CM post, and so we are here to seek blessing from Balasaheb”.

Earlier, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar in a massive statement revealed that there was unanimity on Uddhav Thackeray being the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He added that the discussions between the parties would continue tomorrow. Furthermore, he exuded confidence that the tie-up would be formally announced on Saturday. 

Pawar said, “There is unanimity on the fact that Uddhav Thackeray should lead the government. All of us agree that the discussions should continue. The discussion will be reflected in a written format. I think that tomorrow, the entire programme and details of the tie-up will be announced in a press conference.”

The SAR shield is sold throughout Quebec, and will be available in Ontario this week.
But the cell phone manufacturers aren't too happy that the device is being sold next to its products.
"They would have preferred we not carry the product," says Ara Imamedjian manager at Compucentre. "Their feeling is that carrying the product means there is a risk and they don't want the population to panic."

"We are not saying cell phones are dangerous," says Simoneau. "We are saying we don't know and they experts don't know. That's why they're testing it."
So for consumers, it comes down to a question of do you think you're safe, and who do you believe? There is no real down side to the using one of these SAR shields. The only risk is $30.
The debate is still on over safety. With that in mind, what should consumers using cell phones keep in mind?
Even the phone manufacturers now recommend that you use a headset or hands-free unit where possible, and that you keep the antenna at least a couple of inches from your head - however that's possible.
Consider whether you need to spend as much time on the cell phone. Could that call wait until later, or could you use a pay phone? If you think critically about your cell phone use, you will certainly reduce your exposure to radiation and you'll save a lot of money.

BSNL lead Broadband subscriber base with 63.7% Marketshare

 

India’s total Broadband subscriber base has increased from 14.50 million at the end of June 2012 to 14.68 million at the end of July 2012, there by showing a monthly growth of 1.20%. The yearly growth in Broadband subscribers is 17.40% during the last one year (August 2011 to July 2012). According to TRAI report, as on 31st July 2012, there are 156 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) which are providing Broadband services in the country. Out of this only 114 ISPs have provided data for the month of July 2012 and out of above all ISPs just 10 ISPs constitute 93.60% of the total Broadband subscriber base. 

State Run National telecom backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has maintained pole position among all Broadband Service provider with 9.36 million subscribers and 63.7% market share,while Bharti Airtel comes in second with just 1.37 million subscribers and 9.3% market share. Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) which operates its services in just two circles (Mumbai/Delhi) has 1.08 million subscribers and 7.3% market share. In other ISPs You Broadband and Hathway has 0.66 million has 0.37 million Broadband subscribers.

Indian Mobile subscriber drop by 20 Million

 

For the first time the telecom subscriber base in the country has registered a decline. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's (TRAI) data, users base has dipped to 944.81 million in July from 965.52 million. The TRAI reveals that the decline is driven by the wireless segment, which saw a slump of 26.1 million. Reliance Communications saw a loss of 20.48 million users. RCom was followed by Tata Teleservices, which lost about 2.4 million customers. Uninor lost more than 1 million users, while Videocon 0.41 million. Loop Mobile and state-run MTNL lost around 0.15 million subscribers in July. RCom says removal of inactive users has caused the drop. "With an objective to release the substantial blocked resources of number series and in context of DoT's stringent guidelines on issuance of fresh numbers, RCom has decided to deactivate the inactive prepaid subscribers who have not had any usage in the last 60 days," a RCom spokesperson is quoted as saying. 

The biggest loss in user base came from Reliance Communications that lost 20.48 million users, followed by Tata Teleservices, Uninor, Videocon, Loop and state-run Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). According to Trai's data, the total user base of the country declined by 20.71 million subscribers in July over June. Tata Teleservices lost 2.4 subscribers to have a total number of 77.8 million subscribers while Uninor lost 1.1 million subscribers. It has 44.5 million subscribers. Bharti Airtel, however, went ahead and added 1.5 million subscribers to have a total subscribers base of 188.8 million. Vodafone added 1.2 million users to have a total of 154.9 million users. Idea Cellular added 4,55,912 subscribers to have 117.6 users. State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) added 4,71,552 users to have 98.75 million users.

199 Mobile towers shut down in Rajasthan

 

Life of Millions of innocent children saved today after Rajasthan High Court(HC) decision to close Mobile towers on School building today. Rajasthan High Court order to the state government to remove mobile phone towers, suspected to be potential health hazards due to radiation from them, from near the schools, hospitals and densely populated localities.  "The shutting down of 199 towers would affect 35 lakh customers across the state. Among the towers which have been shut almost 100 are in state capital itself. In the state there are 40 cities which have single towers and will face complete coverage blackout" Sudipto Chowdhury, representative of cellular operator association of India (COAI). "This is expected to create large gaps in network coverage in the entire state and quality of the services leading to inconveniences of consumers" he added. Rajasthan education department on 4th July 2012 asked Mobile operators to shutdown towers from school buildings but mobile operators approches High court(HC) and supreme court but fail to get any relief.On Monday finally Cellular Operators Association of India(COAI) annouce to shutdown 199 Mobile towers in 40 cities of Rajasthan which may affect some Mobile subscribers but definately save life of more than 50000 innocent children who was paying on their health without anyhow related to Mobile. Hope school Administration/teachers will also take lession and say NO to Mobile in school premises and go for Landline/Wireline services in school.  “For the time being remove those towers from private and government schools. The order which benefits (the school children)... we will not interfere with it,” said a bench of justices H L Dattu and C K Prasad.
