Radiation Shield For Cell Phones

In two new studies released this week, researchers found that cell phones are not a likely cause of brain tumours in consumers who use the wireless devices.

Both studies involved hundreds of patients who now have brain cancer. They show that those who are affected were no more likely to be cell phone users. For consumers, it should be encouraging news.
If you're the kind of cell phone user who doesn't believe the research, or you're skeptical, there's a new product you may want to consider. It's called the SAR shield, an Italian-made device with a promise to reduce cell phone radiation by up to 87 per cent.
The company contracted an independent lab whose research backs up the claim.
The SAR shield costs about $30, and is one of a couple of its kind on the market.
You squeeze the small metal device on to the antenna of your phone, reinforce it with adhesive, and that's it.
"The consumer has indicated that they feel concern about cell phones and the radiation emitted by the phones," Bob Simoneau, vice-president of SAR shield. "What we have done is provide them with a way to reduce the emissions without suffering any performance degradation on the phone itself."
The SAR shield is sold throughout Quebec, and will be available in Ontario this week.
But the cell phone manufacturers aren't too happy that the device is being sold next to its products.
"They would have preferred we not carry the product," says Ara Imamedjian manager at Compucentre. "Their feeling is that carrying the product means there is a risk and they don't want the population to panic."

"We are not saying cell phones are dangerous," says Simoneau. "We are saying we don't know and they experts don't know. That's why they're testing it."
So for consumers, it comes down to a question of do you think you're safe, and who do you believe? There is no real down side to the using one of these SAR shields. The only risk is $30.
The debate is still on over safety. With that in mind, what should consumers using cell phones keep in mind?
Even the phone manufacturers now recommend that you use a headset or hands-free unit where possible, and that you keep the antenna at least a couple of inches from your head - however that's possible.
Consider whether you need to spend as much time on the cell phone. Could that call wait until later, or could you use a pay phone? If you think critically about your cell phone use, you will certainly reduce your exposure to radiation and you'll save a lot of money.

Radiation

Radiation

The dramatic rise determined by high frequency electromagnetic radiation/ rays is an immense risk for human biological system.. This is  being caused due to radiation emitted from tremendous wireless communications with billions of mobile / cell phones/ i-phones across the world and from  Mobile satellite towers and systems which transmit high data for GPS / GSM , intranet & the internet.

Cell / mobile/i-phone Wireless / Cordless / Satellite Phones, Satellite towers, mast, antenna, radars, Microwave ovens,  computers & all other wireless e-gadgets emit harmful & dangerous radiation which is a concern of grave threat to human health and lives as these radiation can cause Brain,Ear & Eye cancer, Heart ailments, Migraine, Body pain, fatigue, energy loss, impotency and various physical disorders as confirmed by W.H.O..

Non-thermic effects on the human body - Irritation of Cell Membrane function, Irritation of bio photonen communication within the Cells resulting into zero activity, DNA Management Irritation - Information Content of the GENES might get blocked resulting into tumor, suppressor of GENES in its specific functioning, hence tumor cells may explode.

As per the research and findings of Dr. U. Waraneke, a known Bio physician of the University of Saarland, Germany - Minimum EMF changes can block the energy production in the cells by ATP (Adenosine –Tri-phosphate), Cell membrane & Ionic Pump stops performing resulting into damages & disruption of cells & membranes, pathologic energy deficit - PED , chronic fatigue syndrome - CFS , changes in GENES resulting into deformity.

Few evidence of disturbance of cell membrane functions are indicated as calcium values in the body change, brain EEG values change by the hours, days & weeks, and these values are observed in 10 Hz-Area which were never observed earlier and short memory loss & reduction in brain sharpness and irritation is observed.

As per the research & findings of Dr. Lebrecht von Klitzing a bio physician - Low frequency pulsation have significant influence on major control processes, metabolic activities - hormone\'s & immune system, resulting into restlessness & sleep disturbances. Immune system gets weak resulting to higher risk of tumor.

Evidence of disturbance of cell membrane functions are indicated as calcium values in the body change, Brain EEG values change by the hours, days & weeks, and these values are observed in 10 Hz-Area which were never observed earlier and short memory loss & reduction in brain sharpness and irritation is observed.

There is a potential influence on human body as the alpha frequencies so produced, range between 7 - 14 Hz, which results into trance & sleeping. There is an active influence on sub-consciousness with effect like drugs & psycho Pharmacia, this could be a reason in the increase of panic attacks, neurotics & psychotic conditions.

Cell Phone - A blessing or curse ?

Advantages
Usage of a cell / mobile / satellite phone, internet and other InfoTech, e-gadgets has tremendous advantages. It saves lot of time, convenience, easier to communicate. It saves lives incase of emergencies, may generate profits / money resulting into making fortunes, has great business potentials, can bring direct and indirect business proposals, potentials & opportunities. Thus no body wants to miss opportunities & we do not oppose the use of these gadgets.

Disadvantages
Wireless systems & e-gadgets pose a great threat to human health & life as usage of these gadgets are bringing a dramatic increase of electromagnetic radiation which are very harmful for Planet, Animal, Vegetable and human biological system as it can create body disorders and dangerous diseases.

Symptoms & Health Risks
Sleep disturbance - Restlessness
Depression & Nervousness
Headache & reduced power of concentration
Hot spot in the Brain - partial overheating
Overheating of eyes - Glass Lens have no thermo regulation resulting into gratuer Star + Cancer
Brain & Eye Cancer
Higher Blood pressure
Impotency - Productivity problems
Exhaustion - physical weakness
Genotype disturbances
Changes in Blood formations and readings etc.

WARNING!!!

Q:-WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR HEALTH & LIFE?

..A:-. ONLY YOU

Electro magnetic radiation cannot be seen, heard or smelt. Only a few can feel - something is happening e.g. headache, redness, burning / frying sensation of ears, face pain ( Trig minus ) & such other physical difficulties. It has been confirmed beyond doubt that these radiations adversely effect the biological systems of all users.
Don\'t wait until something drastic happens to you, listen to yourself , consult a doctor & then decide.

Indian Mobile subscriber drop by 20 Million

For the first time the telecom subscriber base in the country has registered a decline. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's (TRAI) data, users base has dipped to 944.81 million in July from 965.52 million. The TRAI reveals that the decline is driven by the wireless segment, which saw a slump of 26.1 million. Reliance Communications saw a loss of 20.48 million users. RCom was followed by Tata Teleservices, which lost about 2.4 million customers. Uninor lost more than 1 million users, while Videocon 0.41 million. Loop Mobile and state-run MTNL lost around 0.15 million subscribers in July. RCom says removal of inactive users has caused the drop. "With an objective to release the substantial blocked resources of number series and in context of DoT's stringent guidelines on issuance of fresh numbers, RCom has decided to deactivate the inactive prepaid subscribers who have not had any usage in the last 60 days," a RCom spokesperson is quoted as saying.
The biggest loss in user base came from Reliance Communications that lost 20.48 million users, followed by Tata Teleservices, Uninor, Videocon, Loop and state-run Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). According to Trai's data, the total user base of the country declined by 20.71 million subscribers in July over June. 199 Mobile towers shut down in Rajasthan

Life of Millions of innocent children saved today after Rajasthan High Court(HC) decision to close Mobile towers on School building today. Rajasthan High Court order to the state government to remove mobile phone towers, suspected to be potential health hazards due to radiation from them, from near the schools, hospitals and densely populated localities.  "The shutting down of 199 towers would affect 35 lakh customers across the state. Among the towers which have been shut almost 100 are in state capital itself. In the state there are 40 cities which have single towers and will face complete coverage blackout" Sudipto Chowdhury, representative of cellular operator association of India (COAI). "This is expected to create large gaps in network coverage in the entire state and quality of the services leading to inconveniences of consumers" he added. Rajasthan education department on 4th July 2012 asked Mobile operators to shutdown towers from school buildings but mobile operators approches High court(HC) and supreme court but fail to get any relief. On Monday finally Cellular Operators Association of India(COAI) annouce to shutdown 199 Mobile towers in 40 cities of Rajasthan which may affect some Mobile subscribers but definately save life of more than 50000 innocent children who was paying on their health without anyhow related to Mobile. Hope school Administration/teachers will also take lession and say NO to Mobile in school premises and go for Landline/Wireline services in school.  “For the time being remove those towers from private and government schools. The order which benefits (the school children)... we will not interfere with it,” said a bench of justices H L Dattu and C K Prasad.

Washington Post's article on Manmohan Singh: PM's office sends a strong rejoinder

Washington Post's article on Manmohan Singh: PM's office sends a strong rejoinder
Washington: The Prime Minister's Office has sent a strong rebuttal to American daily the Washington Post, which has published what has become a controversial article about Dr Singh and the UPA. The article says the PM's image is one of a "dithering, ineffectual bureaucrat presiding over a deeply corrupt government". The PMO has described the article as a "one-sided assessment" and described the conduct of  The Washington Post as "unethical". (Read PMO's letter)

The New Delhi-datelined article in the Post titled, "India's 'silent' prime minister becomes a tragic figure," credits Dr Singh with once being the major force behind the growing closeness between the US and says "President Obama's aides used to boast of his tremendous rapport and friendship with Singh. But, it says, "The image of the scrupulously honorable, humble and intellectual technocrat has slowly given way to a completely different one."

The article quotes critics to say that the PM - who it describes as "a shy, soft-spoken 79-year-old" - is in danger of going down in history as a "failure". "He has become a tragic figure in our history," the Post quotes historian Ramachandra Guha, also the author of "India after Gandhi", as saying. Mr Guha is quoted as describing Dr Singh in a Indian magazine as "fatally handicapped by his timidity, complacency and intellectual dishonesty". (Read original Washington Post article here)

Taking strong exception, the PMO's letter, signed by Pankaj Pachauri, communications adviser at the Prime Minister's Office, accuses the Post of "unethical and unprofessional conduct" though it refuses to go into "your one-sided assessment of the Prime Minister's performance, as comment is free in journalism."

The PMO has said that the daily did not get in touch with it for their side of the story; it accuses the paper of telling Indian media that its request for an interview was denied when, in fact, the letter says, it was only declined till the end of the monsoon session, which ends on Friday; it says the newspapers website would not allow a comment to be posted of the article. It also claims that the Post reporter apologised on phone.

The letter, which the newspaper has posted on its website and is addressed to the Post's India bureau chief and author of the story  Simon Denyer, says, "Despite all lines of conversations open, you never got in touch with us for our side of the story though you regularly talk to me about information from the PMO. This story thus becomes totally one sided."

Mr Pachauri has pointed out to Mr Denyer, that on phone "you said sorry twice though you tell the media here that you never apologised." The letter also says that "the former media adviser to the PM Dr Sanjaya Baru has complained that you 'rehashed and used' an 8 month old quote from an Indian magazine."

Simon Denyer has denied that he apologised to the Prime Minister's Office for the story and also denied that he failed to take the PM's version. The reporter tweeted yesterday that he had asked for an interview and his request was declined. He tweeted that he had apologised only for the newspaper's website not functioning properly. He also tweeted that "no threats were issued from their (PMO) side, no apology offered from mine".

In a point-by-point rejoinder that the Washinton Post has also published along with the PMO's letter, Mr Denyer has said, "I stand by the story." He has also said, "My apology was for the fact that the website was down and the PM's office could not post a reply directly. As soon as the problem was fixed, I informed them." (Read: Author Simon Denyer's reply to PMO's letter)

The Post has also added to its story, a correction to say that it quoted two people,  Dr Sanjaya Baru and Ramachandra Guha, from their statements made to Indian magazine Caravan last year, but failed to credit the magazine. It has since updated the article to include this.

Last month, Prime Minister Singh, who has long been lauded for his pivotal role in liberalising the Indian economy, was dubbed as an "underachiever" by Time magazine in its Asia edition. In an article titled 'A Man in Shadow', the magazine said he appears "unwilling to stick his neck out" on reforms that will put the country back on growth path. The Opposition BJP had latched on to that story too, saying that Time had reiterated what it had been saying all along. The Congress had to put its best ministers and spokespersons up to defend the PM at that time.

The Prime Minister has for some time now been facing severe criticism for allowing the economy to slide by not taking politically tough reform decisions. Many allegations of corruption and scams in the government have not helped his cause either. The latest is the coal allocation issue; the national auditor or CAG has alleged that private firms were shown undue favours, allowing them windfall gains of Rs. 1.86 lakh crore.  Two Congress MPs, one of them a minister in the Union cabinet, are already facing public and political indictment and one of them has been booked by the CBI.

The BJP has not allowed Parliament to function at all in the current Monsoon Session, demanding the PM's resignation, since he was the coal minister at the time the national auditor alleges the scam happened.

Gold crosses Rs. 32,000-mark for the first time

Gold on Thursday crossed the Rs. 32,000-mark for the first time in the national capital, driven by increased buying by stockists ahead of the marriage season amid a firming global trend.
The precious metal gained Rs. 320 to Rs. 32,300 per 10 grams. It has gained by Rs. 1,555 per 10 grams in the last two weeks.
Bullion merchants said the trading sentiment also bolstered as gold climbed in international markets on speculation the European Central Bank will announce unlimited purchases of government bonds to  defuse the euro-zone debt crisis, increasing demand for bullion as an alternate investment.
Gold is likely to scale new heights in the coming days for the marriage season, they added.
"Gold is on upward march and likely to touch new peaks in the coming days for festivals...," All India Sarafa Association General Secretary Surender Jain said, adding that a firming global trend and weak  rupee will make imports of the metal costlier.
India is mainly dependent on imports for the precious metal, thus the global bullion trend sets the price trend in the country.
In London, gold rose by 0.96 per cent to USD 1,709.70 an ounce and silver by 1.8 per cent to USD 32.85 an ounce, the highest level since April 4 this year.
Following the general firming trend, silver gained Rs. 1,100 to Rs.61,100 per kg on rising demand among industrial units and coin-makers. On the domestic front, gold of 99.9 and 99.5 per cent purity spurted by Rs. 320 each to Rs. 32,300 and Rs. 32,100 per 10 grams, respectively. Sovereigns followed suit and shot up by Rs. 200 to Rs.25,250 per piece of eight grams.
Silver ready spurted by Rs. 1,100 to Rs. 61,100 per kg and weekly-based delivery by Rs. 1395 to Rs. 63,345 per kg. Silver coins shot up byRs. 1,000 to Rs. 77,000 for buying and Rs. 78,000 for selling of 100 pieces.

Coal-gate: Raided coal firms had been tipped off, claims Arvind Kejriwal; incorrect, says CBI

Anti-corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that companies who were raided earlier this week for landing coal fields by misreporting facts were secretly warned that CBI investigators would soon be arriving at the homes and offices of executives.  Irregularities in the allocation process are an important charge in the coal scandal that has become a huge political crisis, with Parliament more or less paralysed by the opposition BJP, which says it will not stop noisy disruptions till the PM accepts responsibility for "coal-gate" and resigns.

Mr Kejriwal tweeted this morning, "Received mail from an officer in one of raided coms.  They were informed two days in advance about raids and were asked to remove all materials."  The CBI has said that's incorrect. In a statement it clarified that the agency "categorically denies as completely false" the allegation made by the activist, who plans to launch a political party on October 2.

Earlier this week, the CBI registered cases against five private companies who were given coal blocks while they were apparently ineligible for them. The agency believes that bureaucrats and others who were part of a committee that screened applications colluded with the companies. Among a group of about 20 people who are accused of charges ranging from criminal conspiracy to cheating are Congress MP Vijay Darda, his brother Rajendra Darda who is a minister in the Maharashtra government, and an entrepreneur named Manoj Jayaswal who partnered with Mr Darda in setting up two companies, both of which were raided.  Both Vijay and Rajendra Darda have denied that they used their political clout to help their firm land coal blocks.
The CBI says that companies deliberately misreported their net worth and their technical expertise. For instance, Navbharat Power, which was given two coal blocks in Odisha, projected a net worth of one lakh crores by showing short-term MoUs or agreements with two international power majors when they filed their application.

So Navbharat said it had a Memorandum of Understanding or MoU for 90 days with a Singapore-based company, which placed its net worth at about 2000 crores.  Then it showed an MoU with another global power, pushing its net worth to one lakh crores. However,  Navbharat produced no documents to prove these deals.

The CBI is looking at whether officials who sanctioned coal blocks deliberately over-looked these sort of glaring lapses.  In some cases, stake-holders in firms sold equity after their firms were given coal fields, which was against the rules, but made them huge profits.

Virtual world, real police stations: India's cops will now patrol cyberspace

The Union Home Ministry plans an ambitious project to arm every state with a cyber police station, a specialized cyber forensic unit and a cyber-training unit. People assigned to these will patrol cyberspace, investigate where inflammatory material is springing from on the Internet and then will act against troublemakers along with central agencies like the Director General of Computer Emergency Reaction Team (DGCERT).

A three-day meeting of the country's top cops began today and the first day's proceedings were dominated by discussions on how the security infrastructure was caught off-guard recently when threat messages and morphed pictures went viral on the Internet and on MMS causing panic in the north-eastern community in cities like Bangalore and Pune after the Assam ethnic clashes last month.

The conference is hosted by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and has in attendance the Director Generals of Police from all states. It is a platform that discusses and proposes responses to key internal security issues.
Addressing the conference, Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that terrorists are increasingly using cyberspace in their plots and that the recent incidents in Bengaluru and Pune show how motivated rumours and irresponsible use of social media poses a new challenge.  Cyberspace , he said, besides providing a "pervasive infrastructure for discreet communication," can also help spread a "distorted version of reality".

The Director General of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Nehchal Sandhu said the agency had taken up with the US,  the issue of social networking sites with servers in that country being used for rumour mongering and the posting of inflammatory material on the Internet.

Last month's experience, Mr Sandhu said, had "underscored the need to rework strategy for maintaining a continuous track of inter-community." Such cases presented a strong case for the police to "develop capacity, not just to keep track of postings on the net to identify those responsible for them.

Referring to the recent arrest of 18 young men from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra for allegedly planning terror strikes, Mr Sandhu said, "the ongoing investigation in Bangalore shows the vulnerability of our youth and that they can be exploited by radical elements within India and abroad to create closed communities of select subverted individuals that can drive them as per their desires."

The Bangalore police, which carried out the arrests, claim that young men accessed Jehadi material on the Internet. The ongoing investigation, Mr Sandhu said, showed that there "can be no standard template for detection of the virus of radicalism as it travels across the sections of society."

Sivakasi fire tragedy: 38 dead, 12 arrested, search on for factory owner

Sivakasi:  Twelve people have been arrested in connection with the massive fire that broke out at a fire-cracker factory near Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu yesterday. 38 people have been killed and at least 60 others have been injured in the fire.
Here are the latest developments in this story:
  1. The police are yet to trace the owner of the factory, identified as a man called Murugesan. He is the accused number one in the case. A search is also on for six other contractors.
  2. Among the 12 people arrested for the fire at Om Sakthi Crackers are three contractors, a chemical mixer and the factory lessee Paul Pandi, who according to the police is accused number two in the case. Mr Murugesan, who held the licence to run the factory, had leased it to Mr Pandi, which was illegal.
  3. More than 40 violations of safety norms like over-crowding, wrong mixing of chemicals and overstocking, have allegedly been discovered. The state Explosives Department had suspended the factory's licence on Tuesday. The factory should not have been running operations yesterday.
  4. Most of those killed were relatives of workers and others standing anxiously outside the factory and the fire raged. They were hit by stone splinters and even by the firecrackers called "rockets". Some of these bystanders fell ill from the strong fumes.
  5. Over 300 workers were believed to have been inside the factory when the fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon. But most of them reportedly managed to escape the building.
  6. The fire broke out at the factory at about 12:30 pm on Wednesday. It took 10 fire tenders close to five hours to bring it under control. They had to approach cautiously as there were explosions and huge flames in the building.
  7. There are 52 still in hospital. Those seriously injured were taken to a multi-specialty hospital in Madurai, 100 kilometres from Sivakasi. The others were admitted to a government hospital in Sivakasi and also in Virudhnagar.
  8. All 60 rooms in the factory building were gutted. These included 20 rooms that stored chemicals.
  9. The fire also spread to godowns about 200 feet away. Two of the three godowns in the factory were burnt down.
  10. Sivakasi is India's biggest hub for the manufacture of matches and fire crackers. Work to meet the Diwali demand for crackers has been on in full swing in Sivakasi factories and factories have employees at work in full strength.
